On the 20th of July 2015 an agreement on the facilitated procedure of Russia’s military ships entry to Equatorial Guinea’s ports was signed in Malabo by the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Viktor Chirkov and the Equatorial Guinea’s Delegate Minister of National Defense Vicente Eya Olomo.
Signing the Agreement
The Agreement is a next step to boost Russia-Equatorial Guinea relations in the field of defense and bilateral Navy cooperation. It is already on the 21st of July 2015 that the port of Malabo will see the detachment of the Russian warships, headed by the Guards missile cruiser "Moskva".
