Russian Culture Week in Douala

From February 28^th to March 4^th a Russian culture week was held at the international Russian school «Galaxy».

As part of this event, films and cartoons based on Russian folk tales were screened. The students equally took part in the drawing contest and the Russian poetry reading contest as well as in the Russian language olympiad.

At the end of the festive events, the teachers and students of the school celebrated Maslenitsa.

The school «Galaxy» pays particular attention to the teaching of the Russian language as well as the organization of vivid and memorable celebrations dedicated to the Russian culture, each of which begins with the performance of the Russian anthem.
