E-visa
On unified e-visas
According to the decision of the President of the Russian Federation, Russia begins, August 1st, 2023, to issue unified e-visas that are valid throughout its territory.
The citizens of the following countries can obtain unified e-visas:
- Austria,
- Andorra,
- Bahrain,
- Belgium,
- Bulgaria,
- Vatican,
- Hungary,
- Germany,
- Greece,
- Denmark,
- India,
- Indonesia,
- Iran,
- Ireland,
- Island,
- Spain,
- Italy,
- Cyprus,
- China (including Taiwan),
- North Korea,
- Kuwait,
- Lithuania,
- Latvia,
- Liechtenstein,
- Luxembourg,
- Malaysia,
- Malta,
- Mexico,
- Monaco,
- Netherlands,
- Norway,
- Oman,
- Poland,
- Portugal,
- Romania,
- San-Marino,
- Saudi Arabia,
- Northern Macedonia,
- Serbia,
- Singapore,
- Slovakia,
- Slovenia,
- Turkey,
- the Philippines,
- Finland,
- France,
- Croatia,
- the Czech Republic,
- Switzerland,
- Sweden,
- Estonia,
- Japan.
In the near future, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar will be added to the list of the countries whose citizens can obtain unified e-visas.
Unified e-visas are issued on the base of an application submitted by a foreign citizen and filled electronically on the special site of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: https://electronic-visa.kdmid.ru.
Transport companies can verify whether a foreign citizen has a valid unified e-visa on the special site of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: https://evisacheck.kdmid.ru. Verification procedure is translated both to the Russian and English languages.
